MS Dhoni has recently been seen practicing batting and wicketkeeping on some occasions. Now he has been seen practicing bowling. He bowled spin with short run-up and a smile was also seen on his face. According to reports, not being able to run fast has been a big problem for him. This is one of the main reasons why Dhoni has not played a single match in IPL 2026 till now.

Before the match against Delhi Capitals, Chennai bowling coach Eric Simmons had said that it is beyond his understanding to give an update on Dhoni. He definitely gave this update that no date has been decided yet for Dhoni’s return. Well, CSK team had defeated Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets.

Condition of Chennai Super Kings team
Chennai Super Kings started the season with 3 consecutive losses, but have registered five wins in the last 7 matches. CSK is currently placed at sixth position in the points table with 10 points. If Chennai wins three out of the next four matches, its place in the playoffs will be almost confirmed.
