The deal of Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav for the 20th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2027) is being discussed everywhere. Pant has returned to Delhi Capitals with a salary cut of Rs 12 crore, in return Kuldeep has gone to Lucknow Super Giants. After this, DC co-owner Parth Jindal posted a message, to which former Australian cricketer David Warner responded which is going viral. Warner has captained Delhi.

Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal posted after the trade deal, writing, “Dear Kuldeep Yadav, thank you for your service over the last 5 years. You have been an important part of our team and you will be missed. You are a champion player and you will do very well on your home ground, all the best to you.”

After this he wrote, “Rishabh Pant, Kiran and I are very happy with your return. Hopefully you will be able to regain your great form in your home Delhi.” On this message post of Parth Jindal, David Warner shared a laughing emoji and then gave a reply which started a debate on social media.

What did David Warner write?

Warner, who has captained Delhi Capitals, wrote, “This was bound to happen. Things can go out of your control in the auction. If your form is going bad and the franchise wants to get rid of you, while the other team owner wanted to take you in his team. But if he lags behind in the bidding in the auction, then he can wait for the right time.”

David Warner himself has gone through such a situation when he had to return back to Delhi. He stayed in Delhi from 2009 to 2013, after which he moved to Sunrisers Hyderabad. The situation became such that he had to return to DC. Warner played for Delhi from 2022 to 24. After poor form in 2024, Delhi released him. He remained unsold in the auction for 2025, after which his IPL career ended.
