Esha Singh and Manu Bhaker Medals: Indian shooters Isha Singh and Manu Bhakar did wonders in the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup 2026 going on in Hangzhou city of China. 21 year old Isha Singh won the gold medal in the women’s 25 meter pistol event. Manu Bhakar, famous as Shooting Queen, got her name written on the bronze medal.

Isha, who won the gold medal, topped the final with a score of 40 hits, while China’s Zhang Yueyue came second, scoring 37 hits.

Manu Bhaker secured himself third position with a score of 28. In this way, 2 out of 3 Indian players got a place on the podium.

Isha Singh won second gold in the season

This was Isha Singh’s second gold medal of the ISSF World Cup this season. Before this, he had also won the 25 meter pistol event in the Munich World Cup in May. Isha also won the silver medal in the 10 meter event in Munich.

This was the first individual medal of the season for Manu Bhaker. Earlier, he had won a medal in the 10 meter air pistol team in Munich. Let us tell you that Manu Bhakar had made headlines by winning 2 bronze medals in the 2024 Olympics.

Former Team India batsman Shikhar Dhawan congratulated Isha Singh and Manu Bhaker for winning medals in the World Cup. Dhawan wrote on social media, “Another great day for India!”
