Imam of Jaipur’s Shia Jama Masjid and Islamic scholar Maulana Syed Nazish Akbar Kazmi expressed disappointment over the role of the Indian government regarding the ceasefire. He clearly said that India missed a big opportunity by not taking initiative in this entire matter.

According to Maulana Kazmi, if India had come forward for ceasefire, our credibility at the international level would have been further strengthened. He said that when countries like Pakistan can take initiative in this direction, it was not a difficult task for India to take this step.
