In such a situation, the District Collector of Jaipur issued an order to change the timing of schools, so that children can be protected from the scorching heat. District Collector gave this order

Jaipur District Collector Sandesh Nayak has made a major change in the timing of schools in view of the heat wave alert issued by the Meteorological Department. Issuing the order, he said that due to the increasing heat, the school timings for children from primary to eighth class will be from 7:30 am to 12 noon. This order has been issued for all government and non-government schools. If any school refuses to follow this order, action will be taken against it.

Continuously increasing heat in Rajasthan

It is noteworthy that the effect of heat is continuously increasing in Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur (IMD), the maximum temperature in most parts of the state is continuously being recorded between 40 to 42 degrees Celsius, which is 2 to 3 degrees above normal. Due to strong sunlight and hot winds, common people are facing a lot of problems.

How will the weather be next week?

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in the state for the next 4 to 5 days. During this period the temperature is expected to increase by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius. Due to this, the maximum temperature can reach 41 to 43 degrees Celsius in most of the districts. A heat wave warning has been issued at some places, especially in northern Rajasthan, between April 23 and 25.

Be sure to keep these things in mind

According to doctors, the sunlight is very intense between 12 noon and 4 pm. One should avoid going in the sun at that time. If it is necessary to go, then definitely take an umbrella with you, so that you can be protected from the sun. Apart from this, keep taking lemon water, coconut water or ORS etc. every now and then, so that dehydration does not occur. Also, wear cotton and light colored clothes.
