LPG Price Cut: LPG customers have now got some relief amidst the onslaught of inflation. Today, along with commercial gas cylinders, small gas cylinders have also become cheaper. Oil companies have reduced the price of 5 kg Free Trade LPG cylinder (FTL). From today its price has reduced by Rs 13. After the implementation of the new rates, a 5 kg cylinder will now be available in Delhi for Rs 808.50. This decision will provide a lot of relief to small families, people living on rent and small shopkeepers.

What is FTL cylinder?
FTL i.e. Free Trade LPG cylinder is a cylinder whose price is decided according to the market. There is no subsidy from the government in this. The small 5 kg cylinder is often used by small families, students, people living in PGs, small shops and street vendors.

Why did the prices of Chhotu gas decrease?
In recent times, there has been a slight softening in the prices of LPG and crude oil in the international market. After this, oil companies have decided to reduce the prices of small cylinders. Although, there is no change in the domestic 14.2 kg cylinder, but the 19 kg commercial cylinder has also become cheaper by Rs 183.50.
