LPG Domestic Gas Cylinder Price Hike News: Inflation in the country has suffocated the common man. Necessary goods are becoming expensive day by day. After milk, petrol-diesel and CNG, now the prices of domestic LPG cylinders have also been increased in the country. News agency PTI has quoted sources as saying that gas companies have increased the price of LPG cylinder by Rs 29. After which now the price of domestic cylinder has become Rs 942.
In Delhi-NCR, the price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG gas cylinder has now become Rs 942. Whereas the rate of 5 kg cylinder is Rs 339. Apart from this, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder remains at Rs 3,113 50 paise.

Prices of commercial cylinders had also increased
With the increase in the prices of petrol and diesel, speculations about increase in the prices of LPG domestic cylinders also started. Despite supply disruptions due to the Iran war that began on February 28, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders were not increased. The government had increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders on May 1. The price of commercial cylinder was increased by Rs 993 and that of five kg cylinder by Rs 261. After this, on June 1, commercial cylinders became costlier by Rs 42.

There was no problem in supply amid the crisis
Regarding the supply of LPG gas cylinders, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said in an official statement that the supply is completely normal. Despite the crisis, there has been no shortage of gas at any retail gas agency. The ministry also said that continuous action is being taken across the country to stop hoarding and black marketing of LPG gas cylinders.
The government says that despite the Hormuz crisis, necessary steps are being taken to ensure uninterrupted availability of petroleum products and LPG across the country. Also, all the refineries are working at high capacity and they have adequate reserves of crude oil. Local LPG production in refineries has also been increased.

Online booking reached 99 percent- Government
The government has also given a statement regarding online booking. The government says that online booking of LPG has increased to 99 percent. 95 percent delivery is being done on the basis of authentication code sent to the registered mobile number of the customers, so that gas manipulation at the distributor level can be stopped.
