LPG Rate Today on June 19: LPG prices in India are decided by government oil marketing companies. The prices are changed every month. In this sequence, today on June 19, the price of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder in the country is Rs 942.00 in Delhi and Rs 941.50 in Mumbai. Similarly, the prices of 19 kg commercial cylinder in these cities are Rs 3113.50 and Rs 3067.50 respectively.

By when can prices be reduced?

Recently, on June 7, government oil companies had increased the price of domestic gas cylinder by Rs 29. Earlier in March also the price was increased by Rs 60. Similarly, in the month of May, there was a historic increase of Rs 993 in the price of commercial cylinder. After this, the price was increased again by Rs 42 on June 1.

It is obvious that this has had a deep impact on the budget of the country’s consumers. Meanwhile, after the peace agreement between Iran and America and the opening of Hormuz, people are also waiting for the price of gas cylinder to be reduced. However, there is little possibility of immediate relief in prices.

It has already been told by the Petroleum Ministry that the prices of domestic gas have been kept much below the actual market cost. The cost of importing LPG and then refilling it and delivering it to your home comes to around Rs 1600 per cylinder, while oil companies are selling it to common consumers at Rs 942 and themselves are incurring a loss of Rs 700 per cylinder. Its recovery may take some time. It is possible that after the review meeting on July 1, some reduction in prices may be announced due to the fall in crude oil prices.
