In this video, the woman told that she is a resident of Mumbai and had gone to London for studies in the year 2008. There she worked in the corporate sector for about 15 years and worked as Head of Product in a big commercial business website. By the year 2023, his annual earning was around Rs 1 crore.
Had to shift to Melbourne
However, due to her husband’s job, she had to shift to Melbourne in 2023. After reaching Australia, he did not get a job according to his experience. He told that the job market of Melbourne is quite different from that of London and despite trying for a long time, he did not get a corporate role. To strengthen himself financially, he started Airbnb apartment management. This included cleaning rooms, changing sheets and answering guests’ questions.
This change was not easy
Talking about this, he said, ‘Initially this change was very difficult for him. There came a time when he felt that he had lost his identity. But gradually his thinking changed and he started liking it. According to the woman, her lifestyle in London was quite luxurious. Branded clothes, expensive make-up and luxury lifestyle were part of her daily routine, but everything changed after coming to Melbourne. During unemployment, she started having mental breakdown and started asking people ‘What do you do?’ She felt uncomfortable in answering such questions.

However, with time he realized that job is not the real identity of any person. He said that this experience helped him understand himself in a new way. Now she teaches English to children along with Airbnb management and is also starting her own business and coaching practice.
