NEFOWA President Abhishek Kumar said that for the last 10 years, residents of Greater Noida West have been demanding a metro. They are getting only assurances in the name of Metro. Till now no concrete work has been done at the ground level. He said that in protest, a huge protest will be organized at Jantar Mantar on April 26, in which thousands of people from the area will participate.
The purpose of this protest is to draw the attention of the government and concerned authorities towards this serious problem. The residents attending the meeting resolved to take as many people as possible to Jantar Mantar.
Demonstrations have already taken place regarding the demand for metro.
