Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a Vijay Sankalp Sabha on Monday (April 27) in Barrackpore, West Bengal. Addressing the election rally, PM Modi said, now I will return to West Bengal only on May 4, when the swearing-in ceremony of the BJP government will take place here. The Prime Minister said from the stage, now the people of the country are his family. After leaving his home till now he has stayed with the people only.
Addressing a massive rally in Barrackpore, he said, ‘People of entire West Bengal want security, opportunity and honest governance, which TMC has completely failed to provide.’

The Prime Minister said, looking at the atmosphere in Bengal, I feel that I will come again during the swearing-in ceremony of the BJP government. He said, ‘By repealing most of the provisions of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP fulfilled one of the resolutions of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. The new BJP government in Bengal will fulfill Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s dream of prosperity of the state and resolve the refugee issue.

He further said, he considers himself dedicated to serving Bengal, ensuring security and protecting the state. PM Modi claimed in the election rally that after Odisha and Bihar, this time lotus will bloom in West Bengal. Development of eastern India is essential for the progress of the nation, he said, hitting out at the ruling TMC that Trinamool has no vision for the development of Bengal.
