Lost in 3 consecutive matches
In the tournament, women’s Pakistan, under the captaincy of Fatima Sana, faced defeat in the first three consecutive matches. The first match was played against India, in which it lost by 64 runs. In the second match, they lost against South Africa by 2 wickets. After this, it faced a crushing defeat by 23 runs against Bangladesh in the third match.
The eliminated Pakistan team still has to play 2 more matches in the group stage. These matches will be against Australia and Netherlands. The match against Australia will be held on June 23. The match against Netherlands will be played on June 27.
Again the dream of winning the first title was broken
Pakistan women’s team has not won a single T20 World Cup title so far. Now once again the team’s dream of winning its first trophy was shattered. Australia has won the title maximum 6 times in the tournament which started in 2009. Now it will be interesting to see which team wins this time.
