After a stellar performance in theaters across the globe, ‘Project Hail Mary’ has finally arrived on digital platforms for the Indian audience. But unlike normal OTT releases, where subscribers can watch the movie instantly as part of their membership, there is a small condition. Actually, this science fiction adventure film starring Ryan Gosling is currently available in India only on rent or purchase basis.
Indian viewers can now watch Project Hail Mary on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV. However, the film is not yet available for free streaming under the subscription plan. To rent the film on Amazon Prime Video, users will have to pay Rs 389. At the same time, to rent a movie on Apple TV, you will have to pay Rs 299 and to buy it, you will have to pay Rs 599. The digital version includes many audio tracks. These include English, Telugu and many other Indian languages. According to reports, the film may also come online in Hindi.
The film will be available abroad through Video on Demand (VOD) services, through which audiences can watch it by purchasing or renting it through platforms like Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video and Google Play.

Ryan Gosling’s ‘Project Hail Mary’ has been a huge commercial success. This space drama has earned more than US$640 million worldwide. In India, despite being released almost immediately after the release of ‘Dhurandhar 2’, it ended its theatrical run with a gross collection of around Rs 80 crore. This film is also included in the top worldwide grossing films of this year. It is at number three after ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ and ‘Pegasus 3’.
