Gujarat Titans defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 82 runs. This is his biggest win by runs in the history of IPL. Before this, Gujarat’s biggest win came against Rajasthan Royals this season. In that match, Gujarat defeated Rajasthan by 77 runs.

Batting first, Gujarat Titans scored 168 runs on the basis of half-centuries by Sai Sudarshan and Washington Sundar. Sudarshan contributed 61 runs and Sundar contributed 50 runs.
The bowlers did the rest. Especially Kagiso Rabada and Jason Holder did not give Hyderabad batsmen a chance to open their hands. Actually, the foundation of Gujarat’s victory was laid by Mohammad Siraj and Kagiso Rabada. Together, they dismissed Ishan Kishan, Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma and Smaran Ravichandran in the first 6 overs and sent them to the pavilion.
After this, SRH team could not recover from the initial shock. Siraj gave only 11 runs in 3 overs. Although he could take only one wicket. Coming in the middle overs, Jason Holder washed his hands in the flowing Ganga and dismissed three Hyderabad batsmen by giving only 20 runs in the spell of 4 overs. With this victory, Gujarat Titans team has come on top of the points table and its place in the playoffs is almost confirmed.
