Today is Sachin Tendulkar’s birthday. Sachin turned 53 today on April 24, 1973 in Mumbai. The whole country is wishing him happy birthday. On this occasion, his son Arjun Tendulkar also wished him on his birthday, the video of which was shared by Lucknow Super Giants. Let us tell you that Arjun is a part of the LSG team in IPL 2026, although he has not yet got a chance to debut for this franchise.
Sachin Tendulkar was born in Dadar area of Mumbai. Sachin’s father Ramesh Tendulkar was a Marathi language novelist and poet. Sachin was named after his father’s favorite Sachin Dev Burman. He got married in the early stages of his cricket career, he married Anjali Mehta on May 24, 1995. Sachin and Anjali have two children, Sara Tendulkar and Arjun Tendulkar.
Lucknow Super Giants shared a video of Arjun Tendulkar on Sachin Tendulkar’s birthday and wrote in the caption, “Sachin sir, cake for you from Arjun and us, happy birthday.” Arjun is currently with the LSG team, before this he was a part of the Mumbai Indians team. He joined Lucknow through trade before IPL 2026.

Why didn’t Arjun eat the cake?
Arjun came and picked up the plate of cake and said, “Happy Birthday, but I won’t eat it because I eat very little sugar. See you soon.”

Sachin Tendalkar Cricket Career
Sachin played 200 Test and 463 ODI matches in his 24-year career (1989-2013), in which he scored 15921 and 18426 runs respectively. Apart from this, he also played a T20 International match, in which he scored 10 runs. Sachin is the only batsman in the world to score 100 international centuries (51 Test and 49 ODI).
