When Vaibhav Suryavanshi was bought by Rajasthan Royals for the last season, he was only 13 years old. At the age of 14, he made his IPL debut and created history by scoring a century in 35 balls in the very first season. Earlier, he used to be in the headlines only because of his age, but in a very short time, he has established himself as an explosive batsman and even good bowlers are afraid of bowling in front of him. Vaibhav plays attacking from the first ball, he also hit a six on the first ball of Jasprit Bumrah. However, while talking about one of his major weaknesses, Sanjay Manjrekar said that if you just want to play T20 and earn money, then it is fine, but if you want the critics to respect you, then you will have to come in the line of the ball and play.
Regarding Vaibhav Suryavanshi, it is being said that after the end of IPL 2026, Vaibhav Suryavanshi can be selected in the national team on the Ireland tour. If he plays, he will become the youngest player to play international cricket for India, currently this record is in the name of Sachin Tendulkar. Sanjay Manjrekar also believes that Vaibhav is ready to play in international cricket, but right now only for T20 format. However, he said that Vaibhav still needs to work on some areas.
Manjrekar believes that the performance that Vaibhav Suryavanshi has shown is enough to claim a place in Team India. While talking to Sportstar, he said that if we look at his performance in IPL and SMAT, he seems ready. However, he also admitted that in the presence of openers like Shubhman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, it would not be easy for him to make a place in the team. The former cricketer believes that if Vaibhav wants to play in the longer format, he will have to make some changes in his technique.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi will have to play in the ball line
Sanjay Manjrekar believes that like the successful T20 batsmen, Vaibhav Suryavanshi also plays shots away from the line of the ball. However, in Tests it is advisable to play close to the ball. The former cricketer said that in South Africa or Australia, if you play away from the ball, you will not be able to score much runs. T20 batting is fine if you want to make your child rich, but if you want critics to respect you, then you will have to learn to play in the line of the ball.
