FFRC issued strict circular
When there are long summer or winter holidays, school buses also do not run, despite this some schools used to collect transport charges for the whole month from the parents, which is not considered right. Taking similar complaints seriously, FFRC i.e. Fee Fixation and Regulation Committee has issued a strict circular, in which it has been said that schools cannot charge more than 50 percent of the transport fees during holidays. This rule applies to both summer holidays and winter holidays.
Apart from this, the committee has also given a big statement regarding advance fees. Many schools ask parents to pay fees for 3 to 6 months at once. On this, the committee has clarified that tuition fees should be taken every month, and if any parent wants to pay the fees in advance for his convenience, then he can do so, but the school cannot force any parent to pay advance fees.
