Respect is not achieved by position, wealth or power, but by character, knowledge and action. Shri Krishna received first worship because he always kept religion, justice and public welfare supreme. If you want respect in life, then first improve your conduct. True qualities are the biggest identity of a person.

Shishupala’s biggest flaw was his arrogance. He did not accept the truth out of anger and jealousy. When the mind is filled with ego, the discrimination between right and wrong disappears. Humility takes a person to great heights, while arrogance ultimately leads to downfall.

To respect a worthy person is to follow Dharma itself. Belittling the achievements of others out of jealousy shows the weakness of our personality. Only the person who appreciates the qualities of others earns respect and trust in the society.

Words spoken in anger harm both relationships and respect. Shishupala crossed the limits of decorum in his anger. True wisdom lies in maintaining patience and restraint even in difficult situations in life. A calm mind always gives power to take right decisions.

Religion does not take sides of any particular person, but supports truth and justice. Shri Krishna was respected because of his religious deeds. If truth, honesty and duty are followed in life, then both success and respect are achieved automatically.

A man is not identified by his birth, family or position, but by his deeds. The qualities and actions of Shri Krishna made him the best. Therefore, do such actions in life that become an inspiration for others. Only the legacy of good deeds makes a person immortal.
