Just before the final of IPL 2026, RCB fans have got a big shock. On Friday, Bengaluru Police has issued an advisory, in which people were requested not to burst crackers and not to celebrate by gathering in large numbers on the streets if RCB wins. It was the same thing last year, when on June 4, there was a stampede outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, in which 11 people lost their lives.
Let us tell you that the final match of IPL 2026 will be played on Sunday, May 31 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans will face each other in the title clash. Bengaluru has been the champion of the 2025 season and Gujarat has been the champion of the 2022 season. Both have a golden opportunity to become champions for the second time.
Shock to RCB fans
Bengaluru Police has issued an advisory saying that after the result of the match, people should avoid celebrations in public places. Strictness has also been taken regarding LED walls on the roads. Police said that LED walls should not be installed on roads without prior permission from the concerned authorities. Even the LED walls that have already been installed will not telecast the live match.
It has been advised not to consume alcohol in public places, so that possible incidents of fights can be avoided. Even on social media, cyber police will keep an eye because people have been advised not to post anything derogatory or offensive on social media, which can hurt someone’s sentiments. Bengaluru Police has expressed hope that people will give full cooperation by following the law and rules.
