Skoda has announced to launch its new electric SUV Epiq EV on 19 May 2026. This will be the company’s smallest electric SUV, which will be placed below the current model. This car has been built on Volkswagen’s MEB+ platform, which is expected to provide modern technology and better performance. The first glimpse of this car was first revealed in the form of a concept model and now its production version is ready for launch.
Battery and range
The biggest feature of Skoda Epiq EV is its range. According to the company, this electric SUV can run for about 425 kilometers once fully charged. This range is considered quite good for both daily use and long distance travel. Range is most important for customers buying electric cars and in this case Skoda Epiq EV can become a strong option.
modern design
In terms of design, Skoda Epiq EV looks quite stylish and modern. Its length will be approximately 4.1 meters, which will make it easy to drive in the city. Its front look is quite special, in which ‘Tech Deck’ design has been given. It has T-shaped LED DRLs which also work as indicators. Sleek LED headlights are provided at the bottom, which give it a futuristic look.
Premium Interior and Features
The interior of Epiq EV has been kept quite clean and premium. It is expected to have a large 13-inch touchscreen and 10.24-inch digital display. Apart from this, 2-spoke steering wheel and physical buttons are provided for easy AC control. Talking about the features, it will have many smart features like wireless charging, ambient lighting and connected technology. This will be a 5-seater car and will have a large boot space of 475 litres, which makes it a good option for the family as well.
price and competition
Its price in the international market can be kept around Skoda Kamiq. There is no confirmed information about its launch in India yet, but if it comes, it will compete with cars like Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6 and Maruti e-Vitara.
