The politics of Bengal has heated up after party supremo Mamata Banerjee allegedly slapped a person during a rally of Trinamool Congress (TMC) in Kolkata. BJP fiercely targeted Mamata Banerjee. BJP leader Keya Ghosh has called Mamata Banerjee desperate.
BJP leader Keya Ghosh, while talking to news agency PTI, said that she (Mamata Banerjee) is a very senior leader, but it seems that she is very frustrated. Obviously, this has happened after consecutive losses to Suvendu Adhikari. After this his party had to face a bad defeat. He further said that now many of Mamata Banerjee’s most loyal supporters have also left her, whether they are MPs or MLAs. Perhaps she is not able to control her frustration and anger.
The alleged video of TMC chief Mamata Banerjee slapping a party worker is going viral on social media. While talking to news agency ANI regarding this matter, TMC leader defended Mamata Banerjee. Senior party leader and MP Saugata Roy said what happened then. He further said that Mamata Banerjee is very close to her party workers. She shows affection towards him and does the same. Saugata Roy said that Mamata Banerjee can do whatever she wants with her workers.

There was chaos and uproar during a TMC rally in Kalighat. According to some people present at Wednesday’s rally, many people fell ill due to the uproar. The TMC leader was making arrangements to send him to the hospital by car and was signaling him to move away from the crowd. Then he accidentally slapped a worker. Let us tell you that this rally organized by the student and youth wing of Trinamool in protest against the rape and murder of a minor in Baruipur remained tense from the beginning.
Fight between BJP-TMC workers
TMC has alleged that permission for the rally was obtained from Calcutta High Court, but BJP supporters entered the procession and created ruckus. The situation deteriorated amid slogans and fighting started. The party alleged that despite the presence of police and central forces, the situation could not be brought under control. The students and youth wing workers of the party were beaten badly.
