Sonam Wangchuk’s big statement amid CJP’s protests, said

Amidst the ongoing protest by Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Jantar Mantar in Delhi and the Parliament march, Sonam Wangchuk issued a message that he will continue his fast. A new post has surfaced from Wangchuk’s social media account X, in which he has talked about continuing the fast.

Sonam’s message- I will continue my fast

While presenting her side, Sonam Wangchuk wrote that I will continue my fast. Seeing the kind of brutality being meted out to the youth who are protesting peacefully, I have decided to continue my fast until the youth leaders are allowed to meet the MPs in the Parliament House.

Wangchuk- Hopefully the government will fix the accountability of the Education Minister.

Wanguchak said in the letter that I am allowed to meet him here in the hospital. It is expected that the government will decide the accountability of the Education Minister before that. The way the youth have maintained peace despite provocation. I am very impressed by him. I appeal to the government and the police force to resolve this issue by allowing the students to present their grievances before Parliament today or tomorrow. I am sure that the young protesters will show the same patience and tolerance tomorrow as they have shown today.

Police lathi charge on protesters
