SSC CGL Exam Admit Card 2026 : Lakhs of candidates preparing for government jobs have their eyes fixed on the SSC CGL 2026 exam. When will SSC CGL 2026 admit card be released?

Staff Selection Commission will release the admit card of SSC CGL 2026 Tier-1 exam 2 to 3 days before the exam on all its regional official websites. At the same time, about a week before the exam, Exam City Intimation Slip will also be issued for the candidates, which will contain information about the exam city. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by logging in with the help of their registration number and password or date of birth.

When will SSC CGL 2026 exam be held?

SSC CGL Tier-1 exam will be conducted between August to September 2026. After this, Tier-2 examination will be conducted in December 2026. SSC started the online application process for SSC CGL 2026 recruitment from 21 May 2026 and the last date of application was fixed as 22 June 2026. Candidates between 18 to 32 years could apply for this recruitment.

How to download admit card?

To download the admit card, first go to the official website of SSC. After this, go to the Admit Card section and click on the SSC CGL Tier-1 Admit Card link. Now enter your registration number or roll number and password or date of birth. As soon as you log in, the admit card will appear on the screen. Download it and take a print out.

What information will be there in the admit card?

After downloading the admit card, check all the information given in it carefully. In this, the name of the candidate, roll number, registration number, date of birth, category, photo, signature, date of examination, time of examination, reporting time, name and complete address of the examination center will be recorded. If you notice any mistake in any information then contact the concerned SSC region in time.

What is necessary to carry to the examination centre?

On the day of examination, candidates will be required to carry an original photo identity card along with a printed copy of the admit card. Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, passport or driving license will be valid as identity proof. Apart from this, a passport size photograph will also have to be carried along. If the date of birth is not recorded on the identity card, then the date of birth certificate will also have to be taken along. For any official confirmation, visit the department’s website and consider the information given there as official.

Keep these important things in mind

Candidates should not make any pre-writing on the admit card and should not tear or fold it. The barcode given on the admit card should not be damaged in any way. Candidates who have not done Aadhaar verification during application will have to reach the examination center at least two hours before the commencement of the examination. Even after the completion of the examination, candidates will have to complete the prescribed exit verification. If he does not do so, his candidature may be cancelled.
