Shubhendu Adhikari’s mother Gayatri Adhikari said, ‘He should work only for those who made him the Chief Minister. His father is his inspiration, who fought single-handedly against CPIM at Suvendu’s age. They used to eat fish or egg with rice. He likes Hilsa, chicken and poppy seeds. In the last five years, his (Suvendu’s) life was in danger thrice, may those who have caused this (endangering his life) also be happy.
