The story of a mother’s fight to save her daughter and how she faces terrifying forces has garnered a lot of appreciation. This film was known for adding social message to horror.

‘The Bhootani’ hits theaters on May 1. Starring Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh and Palak Tiwari, this horror-comedy was based on the story of a ghost living on a virgin tree in a college campus. Kajol’s ‘Maa’ released on June 27. This was a mythological horror film, in which Kajol played a mother who takes the form of Goddess Kali to save her daughter. Based on demonic curse and village folklore, this film was a mixture of motherhood and supernatural. Kajol’s performance was praised.

Malayalam horror thriller ‘Dice Era’ hits theaters on October 31 on Halloween. Pranav Mohanlal starrer, this film was made under the direction of Rahul Sadashivan. Baramulla
‘Baramulla’ released on Netflix on 7 November. Starring Manav Kaul and Bhasha Sumbli, this supernatural thriller was based on the investigation of missing children in Baramulla, Kashmir. The secrets hidden in the police officer’s house and elements inspired by Kashmiri Pandits gave it emotional depth. The different storyline and hair-raising scenes made it special.

Apart from this, horror films like ‘Thama’ also made waves this year. The Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna starrer film also had a light touch of horror. The film got a lot of love from the audience.

You don’t imagine what happens here, you won’t be able to guess who disappears where and when, and what is revealed at the end is shocking. However, some questions remain unresolved, which you cannot understand easily. Like how a child comes out of a magician’s box, how a child comes out after being stuck in a tree, if some things had been made simpler in the climax then this film would have become more fun but even then this film does not give you a chance to move away from the screen. Gives you something different and this is the specialty of this film. Kashmir has been shown very beautifully and clearly, you reach Baramulla only for two hours. The actors completely appear to be from Kashmir and appear absolutely real. Especially the work of children is amazing.

Manav Kaul has done an amazing job, he is tough as a policeman but as a father and husband he shows a different side. How his hands start trembling after seeing certain things, how the helplessness seen on his face when his own daughter does not recognize him in school is amazing. Bhasha Sumbli has played the role of Manav’s wife amazingly. This mother fighting for her children makes a great impact on you. Arismata Mehta’s work is tremendous, she has become the daughter of Manav. Shahid Latif has done a great job. Neelofar Hameed’s work is good. All the other actors have raised the level of this film with their work.

Writing and Direction

Aditya Dhar and Aditya Suhas Jambhale have written the film and Aditya Suhas Jambhale has directed the film and their work is amazing. The writing of the film is sharp and the direction is good. Just in the end, some things should have been explained in a simple manner. That one flaw definitely hurts, otherwise this is an amazing film.

Engineer rashid news: In the Terror Funding case, MP Engineer Rashid, who is lodged in Tihar Jail, has got a big relief from the Delhi High Court. The Delhi High Court has allowed MP Engineer Rashid to participate in the Parliament session to be held from 26 March to 4 April. He will be in police custody during this entire session.

The Delhi High Court has given custody parole, accused of Terror feeding and MP from Baramulla, Rashid. In fact, Rashid Engineer had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court demanding custody parole to attend the current Parliament session. NIA opposed the petition

Now Pakistan has handed over the body of this couple to India. The administration of Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (PoK) handed over the bodies of this couple on Saturday (22 March 2025) through the command post bridge over the Line of Control in Uri.

‘Family is not accepted for marriage, jumped in Jhelum’

The deceased have been identified as Yasir Hussain Shah, son of Muja Ali Shah, a resident of Basagran, Uri, and Asiya Bano, daughter of Mohabbat Khan. The two were allegedly in love with each other and they committed suicide after the families refused to marry. Officials said that on March 20, the body of the boy was seen floating in the river near the command post near the Line of Control (LoC). “The police and rescue teams tried to evacuate him, but due to the strong current, he went to the other side of the border,” an official said.

Couple’s body reached across the border

The body of the boy was finally recovered from Chinari (PoK) on Thursday (20 March 2025), while the girl’s body was already gone to the other side of the LoC and was recovered in the umbrella on 19 March. Officials said that the matter has been raised before the administration on the other side of the LoC.

“Today there was a meeting in Command Post, Uri, in which SDPO Uri, SHO Uri, Naib, Tehsildar and team of doctors, Indian Army and the parents of the deceased and their counterparts on the other side were present,” an official said.

Pak Army handed over dead bodies to India

These people were missing for more than two weeks after jumping into the Jhelum River on 5 March 2025 in Dulanja village near the Line of Control. The bodies have been handed over to the families concerned for the funeral, but the coming together of the officials of India and Pakistan has once again helped to console the heartbreaking families.
