The new National Education Policy 2020 has been implemented to make India’s education system according to modern and future needs. The objective of this policy is not to limit students only to books, but also to prepare them for skills, creative thinking and employment. That is why many important changes related to school education, higher education and teacher training have been made in this policy.

What is the main objective of education?

The focus of the new education policy is on the overall development of students. Now the purpose of education is not only to get good marks, but also to develop the ability of children to think, understand and learn new things. Through this, an attempt has been made to link education with employment and real life needs.

What is 5+3+3+4 model?

In NEP 2020, 5+3+3+4 education structure has been implemented in place of the old 10+2 system. This model has been prepared keeping in mind the age and learning ability of children. In this, emphasis has been laid on strengthening the basic education of children from the early years so that further studies can become easier.

Emphasis on understanding rather than memorization

In the new policy, students will not be asked to memorize books only. Now the method of study will be such that children understand the subject, ask questions and can use their knowledge in real life. This will improve their thinking and problem solving abilities.

Will get freedom in choosing the subject

Now students will not have to be limited to only Science, Commerce or Arts. They will be able to choose different subjects as per their interest. This will provide more convenience to the students in deciding the direction of their career.

Skill education will start from class 6

Under the new education policy, students will be given skill based education from class six onwards. They will be linked to various practical tasks and training programs so that they can acquire necessary information related to employment along with studies.

Also read – NIA Recruitment 2026: Recruitment for 30 posts in National Investigation Agency, salary will be up to ₹ 1.77 lakh

There will be changes in the examination system

Under NEP 2020, work is being done to make the examinations less stressful. Importance will be given to the understanding and learning ability of the students. This will reduce the exam pressure and make studies more effective.

Promotion of studies in mother tongue

In the new policy, emphasis has been laid on imparting education in mother tongue or local language in the initial classes. It is believed that children are able to understand studies in their own language faster and better, which increases their learning ability.

Digital education is getting a boost

In view of the increasing use of technology, special attention has also been given to digital education. The aim has been to provide students the facility of education anywhere and anytime through online platforms and digital resources.

Flexibility will be available in higher education

Under the new education policy, studies in colleges and universities have been made more flexible. If a student leaves studies midway, he can get the benefit of certificate or diploma as per his studies. This will make it easier for students to resume studies.

Changes in the rules for becoming a teacher

The 4-year integrated B.Ed course is being developed as a key qualification to become a future teacher. Along with this, teachers will also be given regular training and information about new teaching techniques so that they can give better education to the students. In the new education policy, the teacher is not considered only as a person who teaches. Now teachers will play the role of guide and mentor of the students, due to which the educational and personal development of the children will be better.

Benefits of new education policy

This policy is expected to make education more flexible, employment-oriented and skill-based. This will increase the employability of students, reduce the number of dropouts and make the Indian education system stronger at the global level. Although the new education policy is being considered a major reform in the education sector, its successful implementation will require better resources, trained teachers and a strong digital system. Lack of internet and technical facilities still remains a big challenge, especially in rural areas.

Class 12 Result Rechecking: After the result 2026 for CBSE 12th students, a big and relief news has come out. Students who are not satisfied with their marks or feel that there is a mistake in their copy can now check their answer sheet. CBSE has started the post-result process, which will give students an opportunity to understand their marks and get corrections if necessary. This process has been started only a few days after the results are declared, so that the problems of the students can be reduced and transparency can be maintained. The board says that the purpose of this entire process is to take right decisions in the interest of the students.

CBSE said that there may be a mistake, but it will be rectified

CBSE Controller of Examination Sanyam Bhardwaj said that the board works with complete honesty and transparency. He said that about 1.25 crore answer sheets are checked, so there could be a possibility of a mistake somewhere. But if any mistake comes to light, it is immediately rectified. CBSE believes that students should be given full opportunity so that they can understand their copy and if there is any wrong marking, it can be corrected. This step has been taken to strengthen the confidence of the students.

Apply like this

Go to the official portal: First of all go to the official website of CBSE cbse.gov.in.
Click on the link “Post Result Services 2026” or “Apply for Photocopy/Verification” in the main announcements section on the homepage.
You can also directly visit the official rechecking portal cbseit.in.

Also read: CBSE’s big decision amid copy check controversy, re-evaluation fee reduced from Rs 700 to Rs 100

The entire process will be done in two phases, know the dates

This time CBSE has divided the entire process into two phases. In the first phase, students can apply for a copy of their checked answer sheets. This window is opening from May 19 and will run till May 22. After this, students will be given a scanned copy of their copy, which they can check carefully. Students can check each of their answers against the marking scheme and if they find any mistake, they can note it.

Marks review and last chance for improvement

In the second phase, students can apply for verification and revaluation of their marks. This window will be open from 26th May to 29th May. During this time, if any student feels that there is a mistake in his copy, he can lodge an objection. CBSE has said that if any mistake is confirmed by the team of experts, it will be corrected immediately. This entire process is to give justice to the students and ensure the right value of their hard work. This will not only provide relief to the students, but will also strengthen their trust in the board.

Cbse 12th Result 2026: The wait for the results of CBSE 12th Board Exam 2026 has now reached the final stage. More than 18 lakh students are eagerly waiting for their results, because this result will play an important role in deciding the direction of their college admission and career. The board has not yet announced the official date for the result, but based on the trend of the last few years and current updates, there is every possibility of the result being released in the second or third week of May.

When can 12th board result be released?

This year CBSE 12th examinations were held between 17 February to 10 April 2026. After this, the work of evaluation of copies started in a step wise manner. According to the report, the result can be released between May 10 and 15. If we look at the pattern of previous years, the results in 2025 and 2024 were declared on 13 May, whereas in 2023 the results were declared on 12 May. On this basis, this time too the results are expected to come by mid-May. However, in some updates, the possibility of results being released even by the third week has been expressed.

How is the marksheet prepared?

The process of preparing CBSE marksheet has become completely digital. After checking the copies at the evaluation centres, the examiners upload the marks directly into the digital system. The board is using technologies like real time data entry and on screen marking, which reduces the chances of error and makes the process faster. After this, moderation policy is implemented, so that the difficulty level of different question paper sets can be balanced. If the paper on any set is more difficult then adjustments in marks can be made accordingly, so that injustice is not done to any student.

Also read- Recruitment from Junior Executive to Associate Executive in BPCL, apply before May 17

Grace marks and rechecking

The board also provides relief to those students who are failing by one or two marks. In such cases, grace marks can be given as per internal policy. Apart from this, random re-checking is also done in some copies, so that the quality of evaluation can be ensured. At the same time, in the final marksheet, not only the theory marks are included, but the marks of internal assessment and practicals sent by the schools are also added.

How to check result?

After the release of the results, students first go to the official website results.cbse.nic.in.

After this click on CBSE Class 12 Result 2026.

Now fill roll number, school number, admit card ID and date of birth.

At last, after clicking on OK, the result will be shown.

Students who do not have internet facility can also check their results through SMS or IVRS.

Apart from this, digital marksheet can also be downloaded through DigiLocker and Umang app.

Preparations are underway for major changes in school education. RBSE is now working on a plan to conduct the 10th board exam twice a year. This change will be implemented under the National Education Policy. If everything goes as per plan, then this new system can be implemented from the 2026-27 session. Its main objective is to reduce the board exam pressure on students and give them an additional opportunity to improve their marks.

At present Rajasthan Board’s 10th class examination is held only once a year. If a student fails in the examination or gets less marks, then he has only two options, either wait for a full year or give the supplementary examination. Due to this, mental pressure increases on many students and sometimes they even leave studies. To reduce this problem, the board is preparing to implement a new examination system.

Opportunity to take exam twice a year

Under the new scheme, students will be able to appear for board exams twice a year. This will allow students to take the exam as per their preparation. If a student does not get the expected marks in the first exam, he can try again in the second exam and improve his marks. This will also reduce the fear of board exams and increase the confidence of the students.

There will also be administrative challenges

It will not be easy to conduct board exams twice a year. For this, the board will have to make many new arrangements, preparation of more question papers, arrangement of additional examination centres, early verification of copies, training of teachers and staff. Keeping this in mind, Rajasthan Education Department has already started assessment of resources and discussion on teacher training.

The system may be on CBSE model

This proposal of the Rajasthan government is believed to be largely inspired by the model of the Central Board of Secondary Education. CBSE is also going to implement the plan of conducting the 10th board exam twice a year from 2026. In this system, students can get the option to choose the better score from both the exams, due to which the best marks will be recorded in their final marksheet.

If this plan is implemented then Rajasthan Board 10th exam can be conducted in two phases. The first exam will be held between December to January and the second exam will be held between March to April. However, the final decision will be taken by the high level committee of the board and the exam calendar will be prepared in such a way that it does not affect college admission or admission to the next class.

What will be the benefits for students

Mental pressure of board exams will reduce

If you get low marks, you will get a chance to improve.

The problem of dropping out of studies may be reduced

Students’ confidence will increase

There is relief news for lakhs of students waiting for CBSE Board Exam 2026. Central Board of Secondary Education can very soon release the admit card for regular students of class 10th and 12th. As the board exams approach, the biggest question in the minds of students and parents is when the admit card will be available and how it will be downloaded.

Central Board of Secondary Education can release the admit card of the board exam in the coming days. Every year the board makes the hall tickets available a few days before the examination and the same procedure can be followed this time also.

Board exams will start from 7th February

CBSE class 10th and 12th board exams are scheduled to start from 17 February 2026. In such a situation, it is believed that the admit cards of regular students will be issued about five to six days before the commencement of the examination. Students have been waiting for this update for a long time.

Admit card of private students released first

The board has already released the CBSE Board Exam 2026 admit card for private candidates. This is giving a clear indication that now the admit card of regular students will also be issued through schools soon.

Admit card is necessary for admission to the examination

Admit card is the most important document for all the students appearing in the board examination. Without admit card, no student will be allowed to enter the examination centre. It will be mandatory for students to carry their admit card with them every day of the examination.

What information will be there in the admit card

The name of the student, roll number, address of the examination centre, subject wise examination date, photo and important instructions are recorded on the admit card. Students are advised to check all this information carefully as soon as they receive the admit card.

If you find a mistake, inform the school immediately

If any mistake is seen in name, photo, subject or any other information in the admit card, the student should inform his school authorities without any delay. It is very important to improve before the exam, so that there is no problem in future.

School seal and signature mandatory

CBSE has given clear instructions that it is necessary to have the seal of the school and the signature of the Principal on the admit card. The admit card without seal and signature will not be considered valid and in such a situation the student may face difficulty in appearing in the examination.

It is important to reach the examination center on time

Students should pay special attention to the reporting time and gate closing time given on the admit card. It is strictly prohibited to carry mobile phones, smart watches, books or any kind of electronic item inside the examination centre.

Keep the admit card safe even after the exam.

Even after the board exams are over, students should keep their admit card safe. Admit card may be required at the time of viewing results, process related to mark sheet or at the time of admission in further classes.

How to download?

First of all go to the official website of CBSE cbse.gov.in.

There go to the section related to admit card related to board exam 2026.

Login with the user ID and password given by the school.

Class 10 or Class 12 admit card will appear on the screen.

Download the admit card and take a clear printout.

Get the school’s seal and signature on the printed admit card and keep it safe with you.
