An Indigo airline flight made an emergency landing at Mumbai airport on Tuesday (December 2, 2025). This flight had flown from Kuwait to Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana in India, in which information about a bomb was received on Tuesday (2 December).

After receiving information about a bomb, flight 6E 1234 made an emergency landing at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA). After landing, all the passengers were landed safely at the airport. After this, the bomb in the plane is being examined in the isolation bay of the airport.

Bomb threat received through email

Hyderabad Airport received a bomb threat on Indigo Airlines flight 6E 1234 through email. After receiving the threat, an atmosphere of concern was created at the airport. Immediately after this, emergency landing of the plane was done as per security protocol and investigation is being done. Fire and medical teams were also deployed at the airport to deal with any emergency.

It is noteworthy that the flight took off from Kuwait at 1:56 am between Monday-Tuesday (December 1-2, 2025), which made an emergency landing at Mumbai Airport at 8:10 am on Tuesday (December 2, 2025).

Received bomb threats many times before

However, this is not the first time that a bomb threat has been made on board an airline’s passenger plane. Many airports in the country have received such threats through e-mail many times before, but when the planes were checked as per the security protocol, all these threats were proved to be false, but keeping in mind the safety of air passengers, effective steps are taken immediately to deal with any suspicious situation.

Bomb threat turned out to be false after investigation

After the emergency landing of the plane and the safe landing of all the passengers on board, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel and the bomb disposal squad thoroughly searched the entire plane, passengers and their luggage. After several hours of investigation, the threat was declared false and nothing suspicious was found on the plane.

The airline issued a statement after the incident

Indigo airline issued a statement saying that the safety of passengers was given top priority. After the investigation was completed, the passengers were sent to Hyderabad in an alternative flight. This incident once again proves that aviation security agencies do not take any threat lightly and take every possible step to ensure the safety of passengers. Police have started investigating the IP address of the e-mail to identify the sender of the threat.

Every country in the world has its own currency, but their prices are not the same. The currency of some countries is so weak that even one Indian Rupee means a lot there, while the currency of some countries is so strong that even the US dollar becomes small in front of it. One such currency is Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD), which is considered the most valuable currency in the world today.

According to the report of Vice.com, the price of one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 288.72, which is equal to about 3.50 US dollars. According to this, if an Indian person goes to Kuwait and earns 350 dinars, then after coming to India his price becomes equal to 1 lakh 10 thousand. This difference shows how strong the currency of Kuwait is.
Why is the Kuwaiti Dinar so expensive?

Kuwait may be a small country in area, but its economy is very prosperous and stable. The strength of its currency is due to many reasons. Kuwait’s entire economic system is based on oil. The country’s income from oil exports runs into billions of dollars. The population here is very low and the per capita income is more than $35,000. Kuwait’s Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) is a powerful wealth fund, which earns huge income from international investments. This country adopts fixed currency basket policy, due to which fluctuations in currencies like dollar have very little impact. Kuwait’s exports are many times greater than its imports, due to which the foreign exchange reserves remain strong.

Comparison of Indian Rupee and Kuwaiti Dinar

The currency of India, Indian Rupee (INR), is the currency of a developing economy. India’s large population, increasing trade deficit and dependence on imports keep its value limited. Despite this, the Indian rupee is one of the stable currencies of Asia. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) keeps the country’s exchange rate and foreign exchange reserves balanced so that the rupee remains stable. India’s focus now is on self-reliance and increasing exports, so that the currency can become stronger in the future.

Kuwait, which was once known only for oil and energy. Now it is rapidly emerging as a modern commercial and industrial centre. A recent report by LinkedIn has made it clear that the demand for foreign professionals has increased a lot here. Especially of people who have business, engineering, education and digital skills. The government’s New Kuwait 2035 vision is considered to be the biggest reason for this change.

The Government of Kuwait aims to build a sustainable and diversified economy by moving the country away from oil dependence. Under this vision, emphasis is being laid on infrastructure, IT, education and private investment. For this reason, now new opportunities are being created in Kuwait not only in the oil industry but also in the fields of corporate, technology, and education.

increasing jobs in kuwait

Kuwait is now seeing demand for foreign professionals in every field. First of all let’s talk about business administration. Here companies are opening new offices and they need people skilled in management. Such experts are getting an average salary of 400 Kuwaiti Dinar (approximately ₹ 1.09 lakh).

Retail Sector: Talking about the retail sector, mall manager has now become a popular post. The sector has boomed due to the increase in the number of shopping centers in Kuwait and neighboring countries. Their income is around 500 dinars (₹1.36 lakh).

education field: New opportunities have opened up for foreign teachers in the education sector also. Especially the demand for English teachers has increased, whose average salary ranges from 300 to 350 dinars (₹95,000).

Engineering Sector: Talking about engineering sector, it is the highest paying sector. The need for civil, electrical and mechanical engineers remains constant. These professionals get a salary ranging from 600 to 750 dinars (₹1.63 to ₹2.04 lakh).

Other Jobs: Apart from this, the demand for professions like graphic designer, HR specialist, factory supervisor and sales representative is also increasing continuously. With the expansion of the digital and industrial sectors, these jobs are becoming both permanent and attractive.

Impact of foreign investment and new economy

This increase in employment opportunities in Kuwait did not come suddenly. There are many reasons behind this, including policies promoting foreign investment, expansion of the private sector and new industrial plans under Kuwait Vision 2035. The government’s goal is that every sector of the country, from education to construction and digital services, should become self-reliant and local youth as well as foreign experts should get equal opportunities.

Kafala System: The Kafala system has been central to the labor structure in many Middle Eastern countries for many decades. It has also been criticized globally for promoting exploitation and limiting the freedom of migrant workers. After almost 50 years, Saudi Arabia has officially abolished it, but despite this, traces of this system are still present in many Gulf regions. Today we will know what Kafala system is and also in which countries this system is still applicable.

What is Kafala system?

The Kafala system, which means sponsorship in Arabic, is a system that links the legal status of a foreign worker directly to his employer or Kafeel. This system was brought into existence in the 1950s when Gulf economies became increasingly dependent on migrant workers. This system not only simplified administration for the governments but also gave a lot of powers to the employers. In this, the movement of workers, employment and even their right to leave the country was also controlled. Workers were often unable to change jobs or return home without their employer’s permission. This was the reason why workers there were abused and exploited.

why was it implemented

The objective behind implementing this was to skill the recruitment process of foreign workers and also to shift the bureaucratic responsibilities from the governments to the employers. Kafeel was expected to handle everything from visa to voice. Kafeel effectively played the role of both protector and controller. But with time it turned into a system that promoted exploitation. This placed restrictions on labor rights and forced workers into working conditions that are now compared to modern slavery.

In which countries this system is still operational

Despite mild reforms, the Kafala system still exists in Qatar. Earlier, workers needed a no objection certificate to change jobs and an exit permit to leave the country. Although many of these restrictions have now been relaxed, steps are being taken slowly towards complete reform. Minimum wage laws and better job mobility have been implemented but implementation is still inconsistent.

Along with this, the residence of a worker in UAE depends on his employer. However, there are gradual changes in labor laws here too, especially in the private sector. Now it is possible to change employer here under certain conditions. Similarly, this system was partially reformed in Bahrain in 2009. In which the purpose was transferred from individual companies to the Labor Market Regulatory Authority. But despite this step, this system did not end completely and many employers still have a lot of power over workers’ job changes and place of residence.

Even in Kuwait, employers still have complete control over workers changing jobs and leaving the country. Leaving the job without notice may result in arrest or departure. Although a domestic workers law was passed in 2015, its enforcement remained limited. Same is the situation with Oman also. Although Oman claims to have officially abolished this practice, in practice many employers continue to enforce the same restrictions.

As soon as the name of Kuwait is heard, images of oil and wealth come to mind. The Al-Sabah family, which has been ruling this small Gulf country since 1752, is today counted among the richest royal families in the world. According to reports, the total net worth of this family is 360 billion dollars (about Rs 30.07 lakh crore). This amount is so huge that even the total wealth of many billionaires in America or Europe pales in comparison to it.

The current Emir (King) of Kuwait is Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who is the supreme ruler of the country. Even today, Kuwait is not a democracy but a constitutional monarchy, where the Al-Sabah family continues to have control at every level.

The three-centuries-old legacy of the Al-Sabah family

The Al-Sabah dynasty began in 1752, when they established rule over the small coastal region of Kuwait. At that time this area was a major center of trade, but its fortunes changed after the discovery of oil and natural gas. Oil income made this family one of the most influential families in the Arab world. Today this family has more than 1000 members, many of whom are involved in politics, business and international investment. The power and wealth of this family is so vast that they have direct or indirect stake in most of the major companies, oil producing units and financial institutions of Kuwait.

Where does Al-Sabah family’s money come from?

The roots of Kuwait’s prosperity are hidden in oil reserves. This country is among the largest oil producing countries in the world. The biggest source of income for the Al-Sabah family is oil exports, which go to countries like China, India, Japan and Europe. Apart from this, the family has also invested its money in projects like American stock market, real estate, telecom, ports, airports and power distribution. It is said that the Al-Sabah family has a large stake in American blue-chip companies. Their investments are so diverse that whether it is the energy sector or global banking, their economic presence can be felt everywhere.

Bayan Palace a symbol of royal grandeur

The royal lifestyle of Kuwait’s Al-Sabah family can be gauged from their palaces. His most famous palace is called Bayan Palace, which cost Rs 1045 crore to build. This palace is not only the royal residence, but it also hosts diplomatic meetings, international conferences and royal events. Inside the palace are gilded decorations, marble walls and private museums that reflect Kuwait’s royal heritage.

Hobbies are also royal luxury cars and horses

Royal splendor is visible everywhere in the life of the Al-Sabah family. He has a collection of hundreds of luxury cars like Rolls Royce, Ferrari F40, Porsche Carrera. Not only this, this family is also known for its hobby of horse riding and racing. There are many Royal Stables in Kuwait, where the best horses of Arabian breed are reared. The price of these horses goes up to crores of rupees.

influence in international politics

The Al-Sabah family is not only wealthy but also politically influential. This family has decisive control over Kuwait’s foreign policy, defense deals and energy diplomacy. Many of their members have held senior positions in the United Nations, OPEC, and international banks. This makes it clear that the power of the Al-Sabah family goes beyond its borders and extends to the global level.

Like the Schengen Visa System of Europe, all the 6 countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will soon be traveled with a visa. GCC is going to start testing single integrated tourist visa this year. After this, there will be no need to take separate visas to roam in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Indians will directly benefit the single integrated tourist visa, as a large number of people from India go to these countries of Arabs for employment and tourism. Abdullah bin Tauk al Marri, the UAE economy minister and president of the Emirates Tourism Council, confirmed this pilot project during World Tourism Day 2025.

‘Pilot will be fully implemented after phase’
In an interview to UAE’s news agency WAM, Al Marri said that this visa system will be fully implemented after the pilot phase. It is being called GCC Grand Tourist Visa. The official launch date of this visa has not been announced yet. The integrated GCC tourist visa YajiCC Grand Tourist Visa is based on Europe’s Schengen visa system, which allows travelers to move freely in many countries using the same permit.

You will get rid of repeated paperwork
The UAE government says that this visa is a strategic step towards regional integration. It will increase collective attraction as a single tourist destination of the Gulf region. The countries of GCC have made this policy change at a time when they are trying to expand tourism and infrastructure. The integrated visa will eliminate frequent paperwork and many applications.

Abdullah bin Tauk al Marri has said that the integrated visa has received formal approval. Hopefully it will be implemented soon. Although no fixed date for its complete implementation has been given yet, the authorities have consistently indicated that it is expected to start soon.

The Kuwait government has taken a big and shocking decision, in which the children under 18 have been banned from getting tattoos. The government has taken this decision about health. The officials associated with the case have decided to implement strict rules according to the health experts. He said that the process of making tattoos uses needles and sharp tools, which are repeatedly used on different customers, then the risk of HIV, Hepatitis-B, Hepatitis-C and other infectious diseases increases manifold.

This risk of infection is not limited to tattoos only. If the machine is not fully sterilized, then normal cut or skin piercing can also cause serious infection. Therefore, the government has ordered that all salons remove permanent tattoo devices and use only safe and correct tools.

Security of children and youth The most important aspect of new rules
Kuwait has given priority to the safety of children and youth in new health guidelines. For people under 18 years of age, not only tattoos will be banned, but hair dye, tanning and any kind of cosmetic treatment will also be banned. The government believes that chemicals and ink related experiments can cause serious damage to children’s soft skin and health at an early age. For example, chemicals present in hair dye can cause allergies and scalp infections, while tanning can increase the chances of cancer of children.

New conditions on sharp tools and cosmetic products
Under the new rules, no sharp tools can be used again in salons and beauty parlors. New or fully sterilized kit will be mandatory for every customer. Also, only those cosmetic products will be used, which are licensed and approved by the Ministry of Health of Kuwait. This step will help in removing fake and harmful products from the market. This will also increase the confidence of the customers and the service providers will get an opportunity to live up to international standards.

Complete package of more than 130 new rules health and safety

This step of the Kuwait government is not limited to tattoos or salons only. The new instructions include more than 130 rules. Some of these are prominent:

Compulsory Health Certificate for Salon Employees.

Regular medical checkup of all workers.

The presence of lifeguards in gym and swimming pools.

CPR and First Aid Training Compulsory.

Regular checking of hygiene and sanitation in institutions.

With these measures, Kuwait aims to reach his health standard to the international benchmark and consumers should get safe services.

India has increased the flight rights of Kuwait, the country of the Middle East. The number of weekly seats between India and Kuwait was earlier 12,000, which has now been increased by 50 percent. After this, the airlines of both countries will be able to use 18,000 seats per week.

The agreement was signed by India’s aviation secretary Sameer Kumar Sinha and Kuwait DGCA President Sheikh Humud Al-Mubarak. Kuwait received more bilateral agreements after 18 years, when its capacity was increased from 8,320 to 12,000.

Kuwait Airways on top with 54 weekly flights
This increase has happened at a time when the airline of both the countries had made full use of its sanctioned seats long ago. Air India Express, Akasa, IndiGo, Jazeera Airways and Kuwait Airways operate about 40 flights per day between the two countries. Kuwait Airways is the largest operator with 54 weekly flights, followed by IndiGo with 36 flights.

Due to the increasing demand of passengers, Kuwait, especially Dubai, was demanding an increase in bilateral visits like many other areas of the Middle East. In the last one year, India has signed new air services agreements with Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Uzbekistan.

Modi government’s decisions in the interests of Indian aviation companies
The Modi government has been adopting a policy for bilateral relations since 2014, which keeps in mind the interests of Indian airlines and is taking steps to increase their stake in international traffic coming and going into the country. The steps taken include large -scale capital expenditure to increase the capacity of Indian airports so that they can become a large global center.

This includes giving new airlines like Air India and AI Express to fly a chance to fly and despite the huge obstacles of the global supply chain.

Kuwait on pakistan: Kuwait, the rich Muslim country of Middle East, has taken a big decision regarding Pakistan. Kuwait has lifted the ban from Pakistan from Pakistan after 19 years. Pakistanis will bat with this decision of the Gulf country.

Till now Kuwait had prohibited the applying of visas of Pakistani citizens nor could Pakistan citizens go there and work, but now after this decision of the Kuwait government, Pakistani citizens will be able to go there and work in healthcare, oil and different sectors. This decision of Kuwait will also improve relations between the two Muslim countries.

Kuwait carrying a batch of 1200 nurses from Pakistan
According to the report of Gulf News, Kuwait is struggling with shortage of cheap workers, due to which he has taken this decision. The recruitment process of Pakistan’s professionals has also been started by the Gulf country. It includes the first batch of 1200 nurses. Now Pakistan citizens will be able to apply for family, tourist and business visas in Kuwait.

Pakistanis will be able to apply for online visa

Now the people of Pakistan will be able to apply online for Kuwait’s visa. This has made it easier for Pakistanis to apply and plan their journey. Pakistan Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Zafar Iqbal, has described this decision as a milestone for Pakistan-Kuwait relations. Refruiting the visa channel for Pakistanis will not only meet Kuwait’s labor needs but will also benefit thousands of families in Pakistan.

Pakistan will benefit from this decision of Kuwait?

After the improvement in relations between the two countries, Pakistan will benefit more because Kuwait is a rich country and it may be due to Shahbaz Sharif’s beggar to invest in Pakistan. However, no Arab country wants to invest in Pakistan because both crime and terrorism are very much. Therefore, investment in Pakistan is not a profitable deal for any country.

Pakistan-kuwait visa ban: In 2011, Kuwait imposed a visa on several countries including Pakistan for security reasons. The reason for this ban was considered as regional instability and terrorism, but now the Kuwait government has lifted this ban with immediate effect, making new employment opportunities for the citizens of Pakistan. Now Pakistani citizens can apply for work visa, family visit, business visa and tourist visa.

The government of Kuwait is currently looking towards foreign workers to improve the health sector and complete labor demand. According to reports, it is planned to appoint 1200 Pakistani nurses. For this, Kuwait has simplified and intensified the visa process. Jobs are being opened in IT, construction, general labor and other sectors, especially for Pakistani citizens.

Pakistan’s economy
Pakistan’s economy is going through a serious crisis. Unemployment is at its peak, there is a huge dollar shortage and the debt negotiations with IMF continue to continue. In such a situation, this step of Kuwait is like a relief for the Pakistani government. In 2011, Kuwait imposed a visa ban on citizens of countries like Pakistan, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan and Yemen. The fear of terrorism and extremism behind it, political instability in the Gulf countries, social stress among immigrant laborers and local citizens and security of internal security and resources were prominent. Kuwait had clarified that these decisions were taken to maintain the security and social balance of the country.

Firm in bilateral relations: new direction of Kuwait-Pakistan relationships
The removal of visa ban is considered a big step towards strengthening economic cooperation and strategic relations between Kuwait and Pakistan. This will provide financial strength to Pakistan through employment and remedies. Pakistani workers will be able to work on a permanent basis in Kuwait, which will lead to dollar influx for the country. Kuwait will be able to get efficient workers at a low cost, which will speed up the pace of their projects.
