Now that all eyes are on the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, such statements are not appropriate. Whether it is to reduce the influence of Owaisi brothers or to secure Muslim votes, instead of communal polarization, it would be better for SP to raise issues of public concern like inflation, unemployment, law and order and power cuts.

Whereas Lok Sabha MP Akhilesh Yadav’s party Samajwadi Party (SP) has criticized the increase in the prices of cylinders in a different way. SP wrote, ‘People are troubled by BJP created inflation, rulers are happy! Domestic LPG cylinder becomes costlier by Rs 29. Earlier in March also, cylinder prices had increased by Rs 60. The party further said, ‘In just three months, domestic LPG cylinder has become costlier by Rs 89. When will this looting from the public stop? Remove BJP, save the country.
