US Clears Mines In Strait Of Hormuz: America has deployed two warships to counter the growing threats in the Strait of Hormuz. The forces of American Central Command i.e. CENTOM have started preparations for the operation to remove landmines in this area. America has deployed two Navy guided missile destroyers USS Frank E. Peterson and UAS Michael Murphy on this oil route.

The purpose of this American mission is to search and remove landmines allegedly laid by Iran in the sea. These landmines can blow up any ship including oil tankers.

APSEZ has developed two important marine bases under this scheme. Dighi Port located on the western coast will serve as a support for ships heading towards the Arabian Sea and Gulf countries, while Gopalpur Port on the eastern coast will play the role of a relief center for ships operating towards the Bay of Bengal and the Strait of Malacca.
