The winter session of Parliament is ending on 19 December. Immediately after that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit West Bengal on 20 December. During this tour, he will participate in a big program in Nadia district and address a public meeting there. According to sources, during this period, Prime Minister Modi will also meet senior leaders of Bengal BJP and will also discuss in detail the preparations for the upcoming assembly elections.

Preparation to take out Parivartan Yatras in Bengal

Apart from this, BJP is also preparing to take out Parivartan Yatras in West Bengal in the month of January. Yatras will be taken out from different areas of West Bengal, at the end of which a big program is also being prepared. At present, BJP is preparing to take out 4 to 6 Parivartan Yatras, one of which can also be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

What is BJP’s plan against Mamata Banerjee?

Through Parivartan Yatras, BJP will go among the public on many issues against Mamata government. Among these issues, topics like law and order, corruption, women’s safety, cross-border infiltration are most important. Apart from this, the party is also focusing on many other regional issues.

Apart from this, Home Minister Amit Shah is also going to camp in West Bengal from January. The Home Minister will be visiting West Bengal continuously from January, his programs will also be decided soon. In West Bengal, the political board is being laid afresh, where the opposition leader Shubhendu Adhikari has given his eyes on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s constituency Bhawanipur, while the top leaders of the Trinamool Congress have focused their focus on BJP leader’s stronghold Nandigram.

According to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) sources, the official has launched a ‘special survey’ in Bhawanipur to find out the strength and weaknesses of the booth level, which is being ascertained where Chief Minister Banerjee’s party Trinamool Congress took the lead in 2021 and lagged behind.

Statement on SIR’s possibility in Bengal

A BJP leader said, ‘Shubhendu Adhikari’s attitude is clear. Mamta Banerjee will not get an open exemption in Bhawanipur. We are collecting details of every voter and are also considering creating a special office in this constituency.

Recently, the officer warned on the possibility of special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bengal, ‘Thousands of fake names will be removed this time. We will ensure Mamata Banerjee’s defeat on this seat this time.

TMC’s focused strategy for Nandigram seat

In contrast, the Trinamool Congress is quietly changing its strategy in Nandigram, where the officer won by 1,956 votes in Mamta’s collision with Shubhendu Adhikari in 2021. Bhawanipur’s stronghold of CM Mamta Banerjee for a decade

Prior to next year’s assembly elections, both camps have not forgotten the symbolic importance of these two constituencies, where Bhawanipur has been a stronghold of Mamata Banerjee for more than a decade, while her stance in Nandigram turned upside down in 2021. At the moment, everyone’s eyes are on the next step of Trinamool in Nandigram.

A senior Trinamool leader said, ‘The party high command knows that the effect of defeating Shubhendu in his own house will be more than the number. This will be a political revenge. Nandigram came into the limelight in 2007. Later, the Left Front government was evicted from power due to the intensity of the movement against land acquisition and Mamata Banerjee came to power. Shubhendu Adhikari was among the leaders close to Mamata Banerjee at that time. A few months before the assembly elections, officials joined the BJP in December 2020.

Similarly, Mamta Banerjee has also not implemented this scheme in West Bengal. However, what Amit Shah has claimed for Bengal under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme will definitely increase tension for Mamata Banerjee. TMC captured 213 seats in the 292 -seat assembly. At the same time, BJP had 77 seats. This difference is definitely very big, but the manner in which the BJP has increased its penetration continuously in Bengal is not a simple thing.

In the 2016 assembly elections, BJP’s share came only 3 seats, meaning BJP has increased its seats by 74 in 5 years.
