Like the year 2024, Hardik Pandya is once again in the news. Three years ago, Mumbai Indians traded Hardik and made him the captain. Hardik is again in the news regarding trade, but the difference is that this time he can leave Mumbai Indians and go to some other team. It was claimed that not one or two but 7 different teams want to bring Hardik into their camp. But after the latest update it has proved to be just a rumour.
Will there be no trade?
According to a report by Cricbuzz, Mumbai Indians have made it clear that at present no agreement has been reached regarding any trade. After IPL 2026, Mumbai team has just started the season review. Therefore, even if a trade takes place, its decision will be taken after the completion of the season review.
It was claimed that Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians have made a lot of progress regarding Hardik’s trade. But this stand of MI has made it clear that at least for now no final decision has been taken on Hardik. According to Cricbuzz, there has been some discussion regarding the future between Hardik and Mumbai Indians management.
CSK has no interest
On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Vishwanathan has also made his position clear. Chennai Super Kings say that they know everything about which players are available for trade, but the Chennai franchise has not taken any decision yet. Vishwanathan said that it is possible to reach a final decision after the review of the season is completed.
