The Indian cricket team will tour England in July, in which first there will be a 5-match T20 series and then a 3-match ODI series. BCCI announced the team for the ODI series on Monday, Virat Kohli has returned but the board has made it clear that his playing will depend on his fitness. Jasprit Bumrah is also included in the squad, who was rested in the home series against Afghanistan. Here we are telling about those 5 players who were ignored by the board.
Yashasvi Jaiswal
Yashasvi Jaiswal played an unbeaten inning of 110 runs in the third ODI against Afghanistan, although he was able to score only 28 runs (24 and 4) in the first two matches. After the century, it was believed that the board could consider Yashasvi’s name, but he was not selected in the team for the England tour. Let us tell you that Yashasvi had also come as a replacement for Virat Kohli in the ODI series against Afghanistan.
Mohammad Siraj
Fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has also not got a place in the ODI series against England, before this he was also out of T20 on the tour of Ireland and England. Gurnoor Brar has got a chance, which will be his first foreign tour with the national team but many fans are questioning Siraj’s absence. Harsh Dubey
Harsh Dubey made his debut in the recently concluded ODI series against Afghanistan. In his debut match in Dharamsala, he took 3 wickets, in the third ODI in Chennai, he took 1 wicket. His performance was good, but he could not get a place for the England tour.

Prince Yadav
Fast bowler Prince Yadav was included in the ODI series against Afghanistan after his excellent performance in IPL 2026. He made his debut in the second ODI played in Lucknow, in which he took 2 wickets. He took 1 wicket in Chennai. He is also out of the ODI team for the England tour.
Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant has not been a part of the Indian ODI team for a long time, he played his last ODI international match in August 2024. He was also ignored on the England tour. He has scored 871 runs in 27 innings played in 31 ODI matches for India.
