Morning Yoga Routine: In today’s busy life, most people do not have time to do long workouts in the morning. In such a situation, many people start their day without any physical activity. But fitness experts believe that if you set aside just 10 minutes for yoga every day, it can help in activating the body, calming the mind and maintaining energy throughout the day. This short morning yoga routine gently wakes up the body and also helps in reducing stiffness caused by sitting for long periods of time.

Just 10 minutes of yoga will be beneficial

Even though 10 minutes may seem less, yoga asanas done during this time can help in improving blood circulation in the body, activating the nervous system and removing muscle stiffness, especially those people who work sitting in the office for long hours. This short yoga session in the morning can be very useful for them. Fitness experts also say that short workouts can help in keeping muscles active, increasing the body’s ability to burn calories daily and improving insulin sensitivity. However, if one’s target is to increase muscles and change the body structure, then it requires long sessions and different types of training.

How to do 10 minute yoga flow at home

  1. You can start this asana yoga routine from Downward Facing Dog. For this, go into the posture of three legged dog and then slowly come into the revolved low lunge.
  2. After this, do Revolved Lunge with Push-Pull alternately on both legs and wait for about 30 seconds on each side.
  3. Then do low lunge or half split and remain in this posture for 30-30 seconds on both sides.
  4. After this, go into lizard pose and slowly move your hips left and right. Do this posture for about 30 seconds on both sides.
  5. Now do Skandasana and then go into Twisted Wide Legged Forward Fold posture. Stay in both the asanas for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Finally, complete this yoga flow by going through the poses of Wide Legged Forward Fold, Straddle and Fallen Triangle, coming back to Downward Facing Dog.
  7. Do not hurry while doing yoga. Do each asana slowly, taking deep and long breaths and bending or stretching the body as much as you feel comfortable.

You can get good results by doing it daily

According to experts, what matters most in this yoga is not its time, but regularity. If a person does yoga even for 10 minutes every day, it is better than not doing any exercise for a long time. By adopting a small and simple lifestyle, it is also easy to maintain it regularly.
