2. America – America has the world’s largest coal reserve. There are said to be reserves of more than 250 billion tonnes of coal here. America produces about 525 million tons of coal every year. Although the use of new energy is gradually increasing there, America is still among the world’s largest coal exporters. America especially exports metallurgical coal used in the steel industry. Its coal goes to many countries in Europe and Asia.
