UKMSSB Nursing Officer Recruitment 2026: If you want to make a career in the medical field, then big news has come out for you from Uttarakhand. Actually, the official notification of UKMSSB Nursing Officer Recruitment 2026 has been issued under the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department of Uttarakhand. In this, a total of 196 posts of Group C Nursing Officer have been announced. Online applications for recruitment to these posts have started from June 12. The application process will continue till July 2, 2026. Interested candidates have been advised to check their eligibility and complete their application before the last date.
When will the applications start and when is the last date?
Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board has issued notification for Nursing Officer Recruitment 2026. According to the notification, the online application process has started from June 12, which will continue till July 2 at 5:00 pm. Candidates will also get the opportunity to make amendments in their application forms through the official portal from 6th to 7th July 2026.
Which posts of Nursing Officer are vacant?
A total of 196 vacancies have been announced for Group C Nursing Officer posts under UKMSSB Nursing Officer Recruitment 2026. These vacancies are divided into different categories like UR, SC, ST, OBC and EWS. In this, a total of 157 vacant posts of Nursing Officer women will be filled, out of which 126 posts are for degree holders and 31 posts are for diploma holders. A total of 39 vacant posts will be filled for male nursing officers, in which 31 posts are for diploma and 8 posts are for degree holders.
Who can apply for Nursing Officer?
Candidates wishing to apply for Uttarakhand Nursing Officer Recruitment 2026 must fulfill the eligibility conditions. The minimum age of the candidate applying for Nursing Officer is 21 years and maximum age is 42 years. Whereas age will be calculated till July 1, 2025. Candidates belonging to reserved category of Uttarakhand will also be given relaxation in government rules. Apart from this, candidates should have a degree or diploma in nursing from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. They are also required to be registered with Uttarakhand Nursing and Midwifery Council or Indian Nursing and Midwifery Council. Apart from this, to be eligible for the posts, candidates must have knowledge of Hindi language. Those candidates who have certificate of service of at least two years in provincial service or have B or C certificate of NCC will also be given preference.
What is the selection process for Nursing Officer?
Uttarakhand Nursing Officer Selection Process 2026 is based on the written examination conducted by the board. The written examination will be of total 200 marks. Paper one will be from subjects related to nursing and it will be of 100 marks. Whereas in Paper 2, there will be subjects of General Hindi, General Knowledge and General Studies and this will also be of 100 marks. Apart from this, the candidate will get one mark for every correct answer, while there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. Document verification of the candidates who pass the examination will be done and medical examination will also be conducted. After this the selection process will be completed.

- Now complete the registration by entering your mobile number and email ID here.
- After registration, login to the portal using number and password.
- After this upload all the requested information and documents.
- Now make payment through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.
- After paying the fees, your application will be submitted, you can also take a print out of the application and keep it safe for future.
