Vaibhav scored 53 runs in 10 balls, which Pietersen himself said and he also looked surprised after seeing his shots. Vaibhav hit sixes in 8 out of 10 balls and also hit 1 four. Vaibhav did it in a friendly match, hence this fifty will not be recorded in any record.
Vaibhav’s batting style is always explosive. He made his debut in IPL last year, when he was only 14 years old. In his very first season, he created history by scoring a century in 35 balls. He is the Indian batsman to score the fastest century in IPL history. Even in the league stage of the ongoing edition, Vaibhav had scored a century in 36 balls.

Had scored a century against SRH only
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has just scored a century in IPL 2026, which he scored against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the league stage. Today there is an eliminator between Rajasthan and Hyderabad, if SRH has to win then they will have to get Vaibhav out early.

He has hit 53 sixes this year and is close to breaking Chris Gayle’s big record. Gayle is the batsman who has hit the most sixes in a season, having hit 59 sixes in 2012.
