The final of the Tri Series played in Dambulla once again proved that Vaibhav Suryavanshi is a player of big competitions. In the title match against Sri Lanka A, this young batsman laid the foundation of India A’s victory by playing an explosive inning of 94 runs in just 29 balls. His fearless batting not only put the opposing team under pressure but also attracted the attention of the selectors.
Now the eyes of cricket fans are fixed on 26th June. The Indian team is going to play a two-match T20 series on Ireland tour, and it is believed that Vaibhav Suryavanshi may get a chance to make his international debut in the very first match. Vaibhav’s biggest strength has been his performance in pressure matches. In the five knockout matches played this year, he has scored four half-centuries and one century.
