He stumped Cameron Green of Kolkata Knight Riders in a unique style, the video and pictures of which have created a stir on social media. This type of stumping was popularized by former Indian captain MS Dhoni.
Kolkata Knight Riders came to chase the target of 156 runs. Ravi Bishnoi was bowling in the fifth over of KKR’s innings. On the fourth ball of the over, Bishnoi had already sensed that Green was going to go ahead and play the shot. Therefore Bishnoi bowled the googly ball towards the leg stump.
Since the batsman was in front of Dhruv Jurel’s eyes, he could not see which direction the ball was going. Jurel caught the ball by diving to his left and hit the ball on the stumps with one hand. Fans have also gone crazy about Jurel’s athletic style. His wicketkeeping skills are being highly appreciated on social media. Green was out after scoring 27 runs in 13 balls.

This fact is shocking that Jurel had never before stumped any batsman in IPL as a wicketkeeper. Cameron Green became his first victim. As a wicketkeeper, he has taken 26 catches in his IPL career. Talking about batting statistics, Dhruv Jurel is in good form. He has scored a total of 181 runs in 6 matches in the IPL 2026 tournament.
