Adorned with the strong acting of 30 stars, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ had created a lot of buzz even before its release and due to this, it got good pre-booking. After hitting the theaters, it received mixed reviews from audiences and critics. But then due to positive word of mouth, it made its mark at the box office. Now it has been a week since it was making noise at the ticket window. During this period, this film has earned a lot and is inches away from touching the figure of Rs 100 crore.
If we talk about the collection of the film, after earning Rs 3.75 crore in paid preview, it opened with Rs 15.25 crore. After this, it added Rs 20 crore on the second day, Rs 24.75 crore on the third day, Rs 8.50 crore on the fourth day, Rs 9.25 crore on the fifth day and Rs 6.15 crore on the sixth day.
- Now according to the early trend report of Saknilk, this film has collected 5.25 crores on the 7th day of its release i.e. Thursday.
- After which its total earning of 7 days in India has now become Rs 92.90 crore.

Welcome to the Jungle leaves Cocktail 2 behind
Finally, despite declining earnings on the 7th day of its release, Welcome to the Jungle overtook Shahid Kapoor’s two-week old Cocktail 2’s collection of Rs 89.40 crore. With this, Akshay starrer film has become the fourth highest grossing film of the year.
