In the viral video, she is seen slapping a person, who is said to be a Trinamool Congress worker.
In the video going viral on social media, a person was trying to control the crowd and make way for Mamata Banerjee, but during this time Mamata lost her temper and slapped her own party worker.

According to media reports, the video going viral is from outside Mamata Banerjee’s house in Kalighat, where she was making arrangements to send injured TMC workers to the hospital by vehicles, during which many Trinamool Congress workers surrounded her to provide security, during which she slapped a worker standing near her.
TMC-BJP workers clash during protest march
On Wednesday, Mamata Banerjee had taken out a rally to protest against the rape and murder of an 11-year-old girl in Baruipur, during which there was a clash between BJP and TMC workers, the police also had to intervene to stop the growing ruckus between the two parties. Mamata Banerjee has alleged that BJP supporters disrupted the rally and assaulted Trinamool Congress workers at several places along the route.

Mamta Banerjee accused the police
Banerjee alleged that the police had failed to discharge their responsibilities impartially and the force had become ‘a branch of the BJP organisation’. He said, ‘Police are not able to provide security to the common people and they are being used to spoil our programme.’ The Trinamool Congress chief also alleged that he is being constantly monitored. He said, ‘I have been kept under police surveillance as if I am under house arrest.’
