When will Rohit and Virat play?

India and Afghanistan will first face each other in a Test match, which will be played in New Chandigarh from June 6-10. Since Rohit and Virat have retired from the Test format, they will not play in the Test match.

The three-match ODI series will start from June 14. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be seen playing in this series. This means that Rohit and Virat will be seen playing their first match for Team India 2 weeks after the conclusion of IPL 2026. ROKO pair can be seen playing in ODI matches against Afghanistan on 14th June, 17th June and 20th June.

On one side there is Virat Kohli, whose ODI form is very tremendous. He has scored 542 runs in the last 6 ODI matches and in these 6 matches he has scored three centuries and one half-century. On the other hand, the New Zealand series was not good for Rohit Sharma, but before that he had played two half-centuries against South Africa.

Will Virat play the 2027 World Cup?

Virat Kohli was recently asked a question on the RCB Podcast whether he would represent Team India in the 2027 ODI World Cup. In response to this, Virat said that he likes playing cricket and wants to keep playing. It is a matter of great pride to play for Team India especially in the World Cup.
