Mumbai Indians – 22 Playoff Matches
Like CSK, Mumbai Indians have also won the IPL title five times. But it is behind Chennai in terms of playing the maximum number of playoff matches. MI has played 22 playoff matches and has played the IPL finals 6 times so far.
Royal Challengers Bangalore – 17 Playoff matches
IPL 2025 champion Royal Challengers Bangalore has played 17 playoff matches so far. Till the 2025 season, the RCB team has played 4 finals and finally won its first title in 2025. Bengaluru has reached the playoffs five times in 6 IPL seasons since 2021.
Kolkata Knight Riders – 15 Playoff Matches
Kolkata Knight Riders is at fourth place in terms of playing most playoff matches. KKR has played 15 playoff matches so far and has been champion three times. Kolkata last won the Indian Premier League trophy in 2024.
