Amidst efforts to end the ongoing conflict and tension in the Middle East and restore complete peace, information about a new proposed draft framework of America and Iran has come to light. Iranian media have reported that the draft framework includes possible plans for the withdrawal of US forces from the area and the resumption of maritime trade through the Strait of Hormuz. This draft proposal, which has not yet been finalized, is being presented as part of an effort to reduce tensions after the last several months of conflict.
However, the White House of America has completely rejected these claims being made by the Iranian media and termed them as completely fabricated.

The White House said in an official statement that ‘Iranian media reports regarding a possible Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the US and Israel to end the war with Iran are not true and are completely based on lies and fabrications. One should not believe whatever Iranian state media is broadcasting, because facts matter.
What was said from Iran’s side?
This development came to light when the US attacked Iran on Monday (May 25, 2026), targeting Iranian missile bases and boats that were allegedly trying to lay marine mines. Tehran described these attacks as a violation of the ceasefire. Whereas America called it an action of self-defense.
According to the Iranian government news channel, under the proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), commercial maritime trade through the Strait of Hormuz could return to pre-war levels within the next 30 days. In return, the US will reduce its military presence around Iran and end the naval blockade, which Tehran calls a naval blockade.
