Air Traffic: Summer holidays take place in May-June and it is during this time that most people go on vacation. Now it is expected that maximum air travel would also take place in these months, but the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has shown a shocking figure. According to the DGCA report, there has been a 12 percent decline in domestic air travel in the month of June.
How much has the pace slowed down?
According to the report, 1.53 crore people traveled by air in the month of May but in June this figure fell by 12 percent to 1.35 crore. Generally, people travel mostly in May and June, after which the low season comes anyway.
Pakistan demanded Rs 96000 crore from America, why did it need so much money suddenly?
What is the reason?
Now if we talk about the reason for decline in air travel, then the first reason is ATF. ATF means aircraft fuel. During the Middle East crisis, ATF increased, due to which airlines reduced flights on some routes. Apart from this, fares on some routes have also increased. In such a situation, people refrained from traveling much and then the figures themselves fell. Who is the leader of the air market? However, even in this falling figures, IndiGo has been the most profitable. The company’s share in the air market was earlier 64.9 percent, which has now increased to 66.3 percent. But the market of Air India has decreased. Air India has directly come down to 23.9 percent share. Apart from this, Akasa Air is also not behind in the flight and occupies 6.4 percent of the total, whereas, SpiceJet is last and occupies only 1.9 percent.
