Former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee has given a big statement about Virat Kohli. Lee believes that at the peak of his career, Virat Kohli could have easily made it to the Australian team which had dominated world cricket for more than a decade.
During a recent conversation, when Brett Lee was asked to name an Indian player who could have been included in Australia’s strongest team without any ifs and buts, he took the name of Virat Kohli citing mindset, discipline and intensity instead of statistics. According to him, only Virat Kohli meets this criterion.

The former bowler admitted that at the peak of his career, Kohli would have been an ideal fit for the Australian setup, as he constantly strived to succeed and his approach to the game did not compromise on anything at all. Along with this, Lee also said, ‘Virat Kohli would have fit in the Australian cricket team. He had aggression, fitness and fighting ability, of which Australia is proud.
