Earlier the names of the winners were to be announced on July 3, but now the results will be announced at the end of this month. However, the official announcement of the new date has not been made yet by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The announcement of the winners will be live streamed on the official YouTube and X accounts of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The ministry has not yet confirmed the time, but considering previous years, the press conference may take place between 3 pm and 4 pm. This year the winners have been decided by an 11-member jury, which was headed by filmmaker Jayaraj. Even before this, he had been a part of the National Film Awards jury in the year 2012.
