The Uttar Pradesh government is preparing to honor the meritorious students of the state. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will honor the 10th and 12th toppers of UP Board, CBSE, CISCE and Sanskrit Board in a special program to be organized on June 1, 2026. Selected students and their parents from across the state will participate in this program.
A total of 223 meritorious students will be honored by the state government. These include toppers from different boards. Maximum students have been selected from UP Board. Apart from this, students from CBSE, CISCE and Sanskrit Board have also been invited in this program. All students have been instructed to come with one of their parents to participate in the program.
Toppers will get one lakh rupees and tablet
Students honored by the government will be given an incentive amount of Rs 1 lakh, a tablet and a certificate of honour. Along with this, students will also be honored separately in their districts. Awards and certificates will be given to students at the district level also.
A total of 1459 students who came in the top-10 in different districts of the state will also be honored. These students will be given Rs 21,000, medals and certificates. This amount will be sent directly to the bank accounts of the students by the government. The district administration has been instructed to complete the preparations for the program.

Students will reach Lucknow by 31st May
The state level program will be organized in Lucknow. The Secondary Education Department has issued instructions to all the district school inspectors that the selected students should reach Lucknow by the evening of 31st May. The program will start on 1st June at 11 am. Apart from this, the program will also be telecast live at all the district headquarters.
Director of Secondary Education Dr. Mahendra Dev has instructed the officials to make the program successful. The aim of the government is to encourage meritorious students and motivate other students for better performance. This initiative of the state government is being considered a big step towards creating a positive environment in the field of education.
