Tikari Assembly candidate Anil Kumar from Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party (HAM) was attacked on Wednesday (October 29, 2025). There has also been firing. This incident took place in Dighora village when he had reached there as part of an election public relations campaign. Anil Kumar got head injury in the incident. Many supporters have also been injured.
After the incident, the injured candidate and supporters were brought to Tikari Health Centre. There was also an election meeting of Upendra Kushwaha on Wednesday in Mau of Tikari Assembly. Anil Kumar was doing a public relations campaign after the election meeting. Police reached the spot after the incident. Investigation has been started.

The video of the incident related to this attack has surfaced. It is clearly seen that as soon as Anil Kumar reached Dighora village during public relations, some people stopped the vehicles. Then the vehicles were attacked with bricks and stones. After this, somehow the security personnel made the vehicles move back.
‘People of Yadav community became furious’
After the incident, our candidate Anil Kumar told that the people of Yadav community became furious. Started attacking directly with bricks and stones. He told that there was a conspiracy to murder. There has been firing and stone pelting. There was such cruelty that no one checked whether he was an MLA or not. Vehicles were damaged. Initially there were 50 to 60 people, later 500 people gathered.
Let us tell you that Anil Kumar is currently the MLA from this area. It is being said that there was a lot of opposition among the villagers due to the lack of construction of streets and roads in the village. This kind of behavior has been done regarding this. Till the time of writing the news, no statement had been issued by the police.
