Voting took place for the first phase on Thursday (November 6) on 121 assembly seats in 18 districts of Bihar, but not a single vote was cast at polling booths 165, 166 in the primary school of Nizampur village of Fatuha assembly in Patna district from 7 am to 5.30 pm. BLO Sanjay Kumar informed senior officials about this. Senior officials arrived and explained to the villagers but no one came to vote.

there are so many voters

BLO Sanjay Kumar told ABP News that we tried a lot to explain to the villagers and gave slips to every house but no one came to vote, about which we also informed the senior officials but even after their explanation the villagers did not agree. BLO said that there are 743 voters at polling booth 165 and 886 voters at booth number 166. And not a single vote took place at both the polling booths; voting was completely boycotted.

The team of the polling party reached here to conduct polling at the polling booth from 5 am in the morning, security personnel arrived, but not a single voter came to this polling booth since morning. But a large number of villagers were gathered outside the polling booth.

Why did the villagers boycott?

When the ABP News team talked to the villagers who were boycotting the voting, they told that many acres of land of our society has been captured by the land mafia in connivance with the police. Regarding this, we met all the officials from bottom to top, but till date neither the land has been received nor any action has been taken against the mafia.

While talking to ABP News, the villagers narrated their story of how the police harasses them. How cases are written against them. Although only the administration will tell the truth of this whole matter, but if such a large number of voters boycott voting in this great festival of democracy, then questions are bound to be raised.
