Akshay Kumar and John Abraham have worked together in many films. His comic timing and bromance was greatly appreciated in the film Garam Masala. Apart from this, both of them worked together in the film Desi Boys. Whenever both of them come together, there is a lot of entertainment. Akshay and John’s Garam Masala proved to be a hit. However, a rumor had also surfaced regarding this film. In which it was said that Akshay had cut the role of his co-star John in the film. Now the film’s director Priyadarshan has revealed this rumour.
In an interview given to Times of India, Priyadarshan praised Akshay Kumar’s performance. He said- He was about to burst out laughing. After Hera Pheri, Akshay once again showed his comic timing in my direction, and the audience liked it very much. Personally, I think Akshay’s comic timing in Garam Masala was as good as Hera Pheri.
Did Akshay cut the role of John?
When Priyadarshan was asked about the rumor of cutting John’s role, he clearly said- ,This is all nonsense. Do you think Akshay needs to be insecure with any actor? Such rumors were started by the jealous people to tarnish his image. Akshay has survived for so long because of his honesty, hard work and talent.,
Let us tell you that Akshay Kumar is going to work with Priyadarshan in two upcoming films. One of which is a ghost bungalow and the other is a devil. Both are comedy films and will be released in theaters next year.
Talking about Garam Masala, it was a hit film in which along with Akshay and John, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav were also seen playing important roles. This film earned well at the box office.
